60TH REUNION PLANS:

Our Local Organizing Committee (LOC) is chaired by Dotty Kelley Holland. Other members are Patricia Mawn Brazee, Wimpy Burnett, Barbara Marvin Canavan, Barbara Dunbury Gillespie, Nancy O'Rourke Martin, Lally Myers, Anne Laird O'Rourke, Fred Patterson, Dick Richmond, Bob Roberto, Lynn Aitkens Robinson, and Ellen Shoemaker Slack. The LOC has now held three meetings in preparation for our reunion. Go to the Photo Gallery to see your LOC.

Plans are now firm to hold our 60th reunion at the Burlington (Massachusetts) Marriott Hotel over the weekend of October 2nd through 4th, 2009. It will begin with a gathering at a Marriott hospitality suite on Friday evening, continue with a dinner/dance at the nearby Cafe Escadrille on Saturday evening, and end with a Sunday morning brunch at the Marriott. Details for other associated events will be announced later.

Thanks to the continuing efforts of the LOC and many enthusiastic classmates, we have accounted for over 90% of the 223 members of our class. This includes 137 for whom we have email and/or postal addresses and 64 who are known to be deceased. That leaves 22 who remain "lost" — and we are continuing to search. Click on Email Addresses or Class of '49 to find your fellow classmates.

Note: A reunion mailing was sent out on July 9th. Many have responded using the enclosed questionnaire, but some of you have not. It's important that we get a good estimate of the expected number of attendees. But, please let us know even if you do not plan to attend. We'd like to confirm that we have the correct mailing addess for you.
